Welcome to Roam Trips. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of roamtrips.biz (the "Site"), operated by Ahsen ("Roam Trips," "we," "us," "our"). By using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Site.

1. What Roam Trips Is

Roam Trips is a curated discovery and vetting platform for Japan travel experiences. We research, evaluate, and score tours and activities using our proprietary Roam Score framework, and present them to help you plan your trip. Roam Trips does not sell tours, process bookings, or handle payments directly. When you choose to book a tour, you are redirected to a third-party booking platform — primarily Viator, and in some cases GetYourGuide — where the actual transaction takes place.

2. Affiliate Relationship

Roam Trips participates in affiliate programs, including the Viator/Tripadvisor affiliate program. This means we earn a commission when you book a tour through a link on our Site, at no additional cost to you. Our recommendations and Roam Scores are based on our own independent evaluation criteria and are not influenced by commission rates.

3. No Booking Relationship

Because bookings are completed on third-party platforms, your booking is governed by that platform's own terms of service, cancellation policy, and customer support process — not ours. Roam Trips is not a party to the contract between you and the tour operator or booking platform. We are not responsible for:

• Tour availability, pricing, or accuracy of listings once you leave our Site

• Cancellations, refunds, or disputes related to a booking

• The conduct, safety, or quality of any tour or tour operator

We recommend contacting the booking platform (Viator or GetYourGuide) directly for any booking-related issue.

4. The Roam Score

The Roam Score is our proprietary scoring system, evaluating tours across Reputation, Safety, Transparency, and Value. It reflects our editorial assessment at the time of publication based on publicly available information and, where relevant, our own experience as Japan tour operators. It is a curation aid, not a guarantee of quality, safety, or suitability for any individual traveler. Always exercise your own judgment when booking travel experiences.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

• Use the Site for any unlawful purpose

• Attempt to scrape, copy, or republish our content, including our Roam Score data or tour vetting content, without permission

• Interfere with the Site's operation or attempt unauthorized access to our systems

• Misrepresent your identity when contacting us or subscribing to our newsletter

6. Intellectual Property

All content on the Site — including text, design, the Roam Score methodology, logos, and branding — is owned by Roam Trips unless otherwise noted, and may not be reproduced without our written permission. Tour images, descriptions, and pricing may be sourced from our affiliate partners and remain their property.

7. Third-Party Links

The Site contains links to third-party websites (booking platforms, partner sites). We are not responsible for the content, accuracy, or practices of these third-party sites. Visiting them is at your own discretion.

8. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Site and its content are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We make reasonable efforts to keep tour information accurate and current but do not guarantee that all listings, prices, or availability shown on the Site are up to date, as this data is sourced from and updated by third parties.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Roam Trips shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Site or any booking made through a third-party platform linked from the Site.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Site after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.
